Funny because last year at this time I was posting this very same thing, not knowing just how much it would effect my life. CHD: Congenital Heart Defect, 1 in 100 infants are born with a CHD. As most of you know we lost our baby at 8 weeks due to a CHD, this past year has been a tough one and has tested many aspects of our lives. We are thankful in so many ways to organizations like these who put out information to parents and families about these diseases. In Houston, there is a walk put on by a foundation called "Its My Heart" I have a couple of friends in the Houston area that plan to participte in the even as they too have children that endured a heart defect and the suregeries that come along with them.
