Food Week Three

So far we are hanging in there and keeping on schedule with what I post on the menu! And nothing yet has been a disappointment! All will be had again... so far!

On this weeks' menu will be the following:

Sunday: Grilled Salmon with garlic lemon sauce, rice and salad & french bread--it was yummy!
Monday: Lemon and Garlic Spaghetti, with salad and bread.
Tuesday: Homemade Pizza-Peperoni with mushroom
Wednesday: Stuffed Shells
Thursday: leftover day and Hot Dogs for Steve & Jack...I hate hot dogs but will make them everyonce in a while for Steve... as he LOVES them!
Friday: Burger night! Might try some pinterest Fried Pickles and Sweet Potato Fries!--Since I am or should be following the lenten schedule I might grab a piece of Fish for myself...

Which, by the way I gave up Sweet Tea for Lent...holy cow I am dying for some right about now but staying strong and not giving in! Its tough!

Whats on your menu for the week..its honestly a little hard to come up with different stuff each week. As you can see this week its a lot of Italian...well pasta twice this week, luckily my hubs loves pasta. So if you read my blog leave a comment and let me know what you have for dinner...I would love suggestions or just new recipes, I am always on the look out for new stuff to make for dinner!!

Paige is One Month old!

On the 13th Paige was one month old and I say this all the time and each month (or I will) but holy cow where has the time gone! it flies right past you when you are busy with two kiddos! Here are a couple (TWO) pics of her on the 13th! I didn't realize that I didn't get a good shot until now... I think I was hurrying because Jack was on his way to the bedroom... and she wasn't happy with me taking her pic at the moment.. you'll see in the pics. I will probably do a REDO of these this week...won't hurt if she is one month and one week...I think not!
Enjoy!

the blur in the top right is Jack... he made it in the shot!! :)
Maybe next moth I will try to get him to hold her... ha ha.. like that will happen!

Week 2 of food!

This is week two of my self challenge to make something different all month long... so far so good! And everything from last week was a hit, all items will make it into the supper rotation!

So here's what's on the menu this week:

Sunday:
Rib-eye steak, potato cakes, Caesar salad and french onion soup--it was all delish!

Monday:
Shrimp & Mushroom pasta, I already know I will tweak it a little with Cajun (Tony's) seasoning! Serving it with bread and a salad.

Tuesday:
Parmesan-crusted-chicken with Bacon Cheese Potatoes, and again a salad... we eat a lot of salads here!

Wednesday:
Fried Pork Chops with mac and cheese (nothing healthy about it but oh well!)

Thursday:
Leftovers! I switch up leftover day between Wednesday and Thursday.. depends on what and how much is leftover!

Friday:
Fajitas! I marinade mine in lime juice, and Bolner's fiesta fajita seasoning...(its the best) and then grill, will serve with cilantro lime rice (my own concoction!).

Saturday supper is usually up in the air. what ever we feel like making, usually requires a run to the grocery store or Steve going and picking something up.

Nothing on my weekly menu is really "healthy" we'll get around to that one day, right now I am breastfeeding and eat whatever I feel like eating, with in reason! I want to keep this supply coming in as long as I can! I plan on running again very soon, and starting some pilates to get back in shape... waiting on the OK from my doctor, that won't be till the end of the month though. So for now it is what it is!

In other news! Today marks FOUR Weeks since this little girl was born!

One month pics coming tomorrow on the 13th!

March... a month of FOOD!

This month my plan is to try new recipies and not make the same thing twice.....so thanks to Pinterest, I have found many new recipies to try-out! I will post what I make each week and if you want the recipe if I haven't put it on here let me kwow and I will post it!

And in other news....
Paige is THREE weeks old TODAY! Holy Cow! She is doing amazing, sleeping 4 hour streches at night, so I can not complain too much about that! Dont get me wrong its hard to get out of bed in the morning but you just do what you have to do as a momma! Jack is in school from 8-12 Monday-Friday so sleeping in is not an option! But I do try to catch up a little on my sleep a couple times a week while they are both napping in the afternoon....today is not one of those days though!

So this week's menu will consist of the following:

Monday: Kristi's Chicken Enchiladas & Cilantro Lime Rice (my absolute favorite enchilada recipe!)
Tuesday: Baked Tortellini with garlic bread and salad

Wednesday: will be designated leftover day
Thursday: Meatball Subs with a salad

So not all are "NEW" recipes but none will be duplicated this month. I will try out one maybe two NEW recipes a week and keep up with them here to see if I will make them again! Or what I can do to tweak it to make it better.

And here are some pics of my BOYS!!

 hard at work!
 that's a smile (above!) :)

Another "Paige" in the Jesulaitis Journal...

******Picture Overload******
Paige Elyse Jesulaitis is here.. as most of you already know this that read my blog. As scheduled we delivered her on 2/13/12 at 39 weeks! She was not ready to come any earlier as Momma was ready for her to get here a little sooner and why??? Because she was a big baby an making me pretty much not want to do anything at all. With the boys I delivered them at 35 weeks and I tell you what 4 weeks makes a huge difference!
Paige weighed in at a whopping 8 lbs 7 oz! That is more than both of my boys combined weight...(7lbs 15oz)!! She in my eyes of course is the sweetest cutest little thing ever.. well as far as little girls go... I think Jack is the cutest, sweetest little BOY, E.V.E.R! Speaking of Jack... his first meeting with his sister he was more taken back by the hospital room we were in... lots of stuff to look at! But he saw Paige and said "Baby Sister"! He really didn't get close to her until we were home. He has his moments when he just wants me and I have to hand the baby over QUICKLY to Steve so Jack can sit in my lap or so I can hold him... but he is getting used to her being here and he loves his "Baby Paige"! I tell you that kid has some accent on him... its so FUNNY to hear him say PAIGE! This kid cracks me up!
More on Paige:
Steve and I got to the hospital at 5:30 in the AM! Got through all the registration by 6, then got put in our pre-op room...I was all hooked up to mu IV etc.. then we just waited till 7:20...got rolled back to the OR for my epidural then they began and she was born at 7:50am. Pretty QUICK!  By 9am we were in my postpartum room. Paige was in the room with us most of the time... I sent her to the nursery Tuesday night so I could get some sleep before going home on Wednesday. I talked my doctor into letting me go home a day early! No reason to stay there one more night and whole day. So we were home by noon on Wednesday!
Day One: 2.13.12

Day Two: 2.14.12

 Day Three: 2.15.12
